from February 12, 2026 to November 1, 2026

Riccione is a child-friendly city, ideal for a holiday to experience and remember. With the " Riccione Family City 2026 " program, it reinforces its reputation as a welcoming, safe, and quality destination, putting families at the center.

Already a beloved destination for its well-equipped beaches , theme parks, and excellent accommodations, in 2026 it will expand its offerings with a family-oriented program designed to make your stay special all year round, not just in summer.

The season opens with Riccione Teatro per le nuove generazione , which stages nationally renowned shows such as In mezzo a un milione di rane e farfalle (In the midst of a million frogs and butterflies ) (February 12) and Buchettino (March 19). In spring, Villa Lodi Fé hosts Il Parco dei tulipani (March 28–April 12), while at Easter and in summer, Wanderlust returns, a creative market featuring crafts, music, and workshops.

From May 1st to 3rd, the park hosts the Smanèt Spring Market , an art and design festival with free admission on May 1st, followed by other editions between June and September. At Villa Franceschi (May 30th–June 21st), the exhibition Children in Dialogue with Art showcases works by children inspired by 20th-century masters.

June ushers in outdoor events with Insieme nel parco… che spettacolo!, a day dedicated to sports, nature, and community. In the summer, Piazzale Ceccarini becomes the hub of entertainment with the Riccione Family Show and the Kids Family Festival (June 18–20), featuring shows, workshops, and educational events. Pane, Burro & Burattini , a traveling animated theater festival, also arrives in the neighborhoods.

In autumn, fairytale atmospheres return with the Pumpkin Park , with themed workshops and installations.

Throughout the year, the Library and Local Museum enrich their offerings with animated readings, workshops, reading groups, and activities for schools and families. In the summer, Storia e storie in spiaggia brings books and creativity right to your beach umbrella, while the Museum offers tours and initiatives like "Che mito il museo!" (What a myth, the museum!), to engage even the youngest visitors with history in an engaging way.
