The Lobster - Francesca Airaudo| Written by Francesco Gabellini| Directed by Davide Schinaia
Friday 22 November at the Granturismo (Palazzo del Turismo)

With a language based on the Riccione dialect, the show depicts the life of an elderly woman , whose solitary existence unfolds before the eyes of the viewer alternating drama, funny comic interludes and surreal episodes.

The scenic space, carefully designed by Paul Mochrie, transforms everyday objects and so the refrigerator, the washing machine and other domestic elements take on new meanings, becoming co-protagonists of a narrative that winds between the real and the absurd, with homages to masters such as Samuel Beckett and Raffaello Baldini.

The soundtrack includes iconic songs from Italian cinema of the Sixties and Seventies and unexpected references, such as Acque Amare by Carla Boni and Eternità dei Camaleonti. Finally, the lobster, an element that undermines the rhythm of the story, adding a detective film touch to the story.

The evening will open at 7.30pm with Radiodrammi di Romagna on Tour! , presentation of the theater's sound archive in Emilia-Romagna dialect, curated by Città Teatro
